The Learning Experience is now offering a 9 week Summer Safari themed program available for children over the age of 2.

Summer is a time for carefree relaxation and using your imagination. Remember when you built forts in the backyard with bed sheets and cardboard? Or on rainy days the stacked couch cushions made a great hiding place to curl up and read a Nancy Drew or Hardy Boys book.

Things were much simpler then, and now with the pressure of both parents working, there is a all the more need for a place where young imaginations can blossom in a fun, yet structured environment.

The Learning Experience in Lewis Center is one such place. For children over 2 years old, a 9 week Summer Safari themed program will take them on a journey packed with adventure. From exploring the sounds and sights of the jungle and rainforest with special curriculum, music and hands on activities to tracking down the "big wild game" with imaginative tracking gear, each day will unfold new adventures for each child.

Special visitors will bring exotic animals, pets, and even special friends from under the sea and out of the jungle.????

If all you have planned is to play video games at grandmas or the neighbor's house, summer camp is the perfect opportunity for your child to take a "vacation" down a more imaginative path. With a variety of schedules to choose from, there the no excuse to miss out on the summertime fun.
